Book a detail
How it works

Five steps,
in order

Detailing only works in sequence. Skip a stage and you grind dirt into the paint you are trying to save — so we never do. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you book.

01

Book and we arrive

Pick a time that suits you. We turn up with our own water, power and lighting, so all we need is a parking space — home, office or anywhere in between. You do not have to be there the whole time, only at the start and the end.

Day of booking
02

Inspect and quote

We walk around the car with you, point out what we can fix and what we honestly cannot, and confirm the price before a drop of water touches the paint. If a cheaper package would do the job, we will say so.

03

Decontaminate

Pre-rinse, snow foam, then a two-bucket hand wash. Iron fallout, tar and bonded grit come off with chemicals and clay before any polishing begins. This is the step almost every car wash skips, and the reason paint gets scratched.

60–90 min
04

Correct and restore

Machine polishing on the outside, steam and hot-water extraction on the inside. Everything is checked under inspection lighting — not in the shade, where flaws conveniently disappear.

2–8 hrs
05

Protect and hand back

Sealant or ceramic coating goes on, glass is treated, tyres dressed. Then we walk the car with you and show you exactly what changed. That last look together is the final step — it is where the name comes from.

What we bring

You supply the parking space

That really is the whole list. Everything else arrives in the van.

A fully stocked van

Everything arrives with us. You do not need to prepare anything.

Water on board

A tank and pressure system, so no hose or outdoor tap is needed.

Our own power

A quiet generator runs the polishers and extractors.

Inspection lighting

The lights that reveal swirls a garage bulb hides.

What we need

A space, and about a metre around the car

Almost every driveway, office car park and garage works. If you are not sure yours does, send a photo when you book and we will confirm before you commit to a time.

  • A normal parking space, ideally out of direct sun
  • Roughly a metre of clearance around the car to work
  • Somewhere covered for paint correction, if possible
  • Keys at the start, and ten minutes with you at the end
  • No hose, tap or socket needed — we are self-contained
Practical questions

How the day works

What happens if it rains?

We call you the evening before. If the weather will not let us do the job properly, we move the booking to the next clear slot at no cost. We would rather reschedule than hand back half a result.

Do I need to be home the whole time?

No. We need you at the start for the walkaround and at the end to look over the finished car. In between, most people go back to work or head out.

Will the generator annoy my neighbours?

It is an inverter generator, roughly as loud as a conversation, and it only runs while the polisher or extractor is in use. If noise is sensitive, tell us and we will plan around it.

How long until I can drive it?

Straight away after a wash or interior detail. After a ceramic coating we ask for the car to sit overnight and stay out of rain for 24 hours while it cures.

How often should I book?

For a daily driver, a full detail twice a year with a maintenance wash every four to six weeks keeps paint protected. Correction is a one-off — once the swirls are gone, sensible washing stops them coming back.

Next step

Book a time that suits you

Mornings, evenings and Saturdays fill up first. Tell us roughly when works and we will fit around it.
